Behavior Coaching Consultation
Evidence-based strategies, made realistic for everyday family life.
Service Description
Parenting a child with disabilities often means navigating behaviors that feel confusing, overwhelming, or unpredictable. This consultation is your first step toward getting practical, personalized support that fits your family's daily life. Maddy Marchetti offers behavior coaching for parents through Accessible Education. Maddy is an independent practitioner, and her coaching is separate from Accessible Education's own educational consulting and advocacy services. She draws on her background as a classroom and behavior support teacher to help parents understand what's driving a behavior and build strategies that hold up in real life, not just in theory. During your consultation, Maddy will talk with you about what's happening at home, help you think through patterns and possible triggers, and discuss whether coaching is a good fit. From there, support may include: Understanding what's behind a specific behavior, so you're responding to the cause rather than just the moment Building visual schedules, reinforcement systems, and structured routines designed around your family Developing your own strategies for handling difficult moments, so you know what to do when things get hard Translating research-based approaches into steps that actually work in a busy household Coaching is collaborative. Maddy works alongside you as you put strategies into practice, adjusting as your family's needs change. This is coaching and consultation directed at you as the parent. It is not therapy, and it does not involve psychological or mental health treatment
