Texas Education Freedom Accounts (TEFA) Applications Now Open: What Parents Need to Know

The Texas Education Freedom Account (TEFA), also known as the Texas Education Savings Account or Texas school voucher program, was created through the passage of Texas Senate Bill 2 (SB 2).
Parent applications officially open today, February 4, and close on March 17.
TEFA Application Window and Important Deadlines
Applications Open: February 4 at 9:00 a.m. CT
Applications Close: March 17 at 11:59 p.m. CT
Families may apply for TEFA at any point during the application window. This is NOT a first-come, first-served program. You can take your time completing your application. As long as it is submitted by March 17, your child's chances of receiving funding are not affected.
How to Apply for a Texas Education Freedom Account (TEFA)
